A Little Rip2iPod History

Rip2iPod was born some time after I spent 8 full days ripping 450 CDs. At the time it was a manual process, slow and boring. When I was done the meta data information was non-existent and my digital library was digital, but a total mess. There had to be an easier way.

At the time, I was working for an optical disc manufacturer who specializes in disc robotics and during my 12 year stint, I become an expert on automated equipment and disc handling. Putting my love for music together with my business experience all while coming off the frustration of an 8 day CD Ripping process, an idea was born. Create a CD Ripper Service.
